WCBC Prayer Ministry
Because prayer is the wind in the sails of every other ministry at our church, we want it to be our first action point not an afterthought.
God’s Word says His house should be a house of prayer for all nations (Is. 56:7). Believers in Jesus Christ are also commanded to pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17) and to pray for one another. Therefore, we encourage you to be a part of one or all of the following opportunities by contacting Melanie Gentiles at email@example.com:
Can We Talk?
This prayer team stays in real time contact with evangelistic teams that are out in the community visiting. The prayer team lifts them up in prayer before, during, and after their visits. Can We Talk is held on Sunday evenings from 4:30 - 7:00.
A prayer ministry that meets on Wednesday nights to 'stand in the gap' for our children and students from infants through 12th grade and sends cards of encouragement.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
A prayer ministry covering needs presented to the church by individuals, as well as prayer for missionaries, national, state, and civic leaders, WCBC staff, and upcoming church events. You are welcome to pray in our intercessory prayer room at the church or be placed on an email list to receive weekly prayer updates.
Neighbor to Neighbor
An in-home prayer time where people in a neighborhood meet together to pray for their families and their neighbors.
A prayer team praying during each worship service on Sunday mornings and for requests texted in from our live-stream audience.
"The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." James 5:16
