ADULT DISCIPLESHIP - 6PM
Life Together - Dr. Jesse Payne – C-250
God calls Christians to live out their faith in the context of a local church. But what does that mean, and what does it look like practically? Life Together will help you understand how God intends the church to live and breathe as members come together under the banner of Jesus Christ, and the practical difference that makes in your everyday life––not only on Sundays, but from Monday to Saturday as well.
Grief Share : Led by Tom & Laurie Ellis : C-245 - Will be starting on Aug. 14th
Grief recovery group to help you find healing over the loss of a loved one.
Revelation by Jen Wilkin : Led by Nicole Warnement : C-242 *Ladies Only*
A 10-Session Bible Study. Revelation shouldn't leave us fearful or confused, but its imagery and concepts often confound our modern ears. If all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, though, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Study Revelation verse-by-verse to discover how the last book of the Bible is accessible, helpful, and speaks a steadying word of assurance and endurance to the church in every age.
Men’s Study : Led by Robert Gosselin : C-241 *Men Only*
Discovering truths to live life as Godly men.
Transformed by the Holy Spirit : Led by Shirley Johnson : C-219A
A 7 week basic study of the Holy Spirit and His part in our transformation.
Parenting Class : Led by Adam & Sherry Berg : C-219
This 17-week course (geared for toddler to preteen) will help you to understand how to instruct your growing children in the way of the Lord as it lays the groundwork for your parenting. "Positive development takes place when parents build into their child's conscience the reason why "right is right" and "wrong is wrong". A child will develop a healthy conscience when parents encourage doing right and not simply discourage the child from doing wrong." Gary Ezzo, The Life Series
When You Pray by Various Lifeway Women Authors : Led by Laura Redden : C-219-B *Ladies Only*
In this 7-session study, join with six beloved Bible teachers who will help you study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession. You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Above all, you’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As you draw near to God through prayer, you’ll find your faith strengthened and your heart united to Christ.
